Nanna Obel was educated as jewellery artist in 2015 and as graphic designer in 1995.
Since 2009 she has been working with jewellery in her workshop and as a freelance graphic designer.
STATEMENT
Nanna has a narrative approach to art jewellery. She tells stories through her work. She has a big interest in women’s rights and social political issues – themes she often incorporates in her work with humour and irony. She aims to make the wearer and the viewer reflect, relate and connect through her small wearable collages.
